the CS2 demo thing is the real nerf to prep. if every pov gives away grenades and timings, then all that scrim magic gets copy-pasted before the next event. no wonder teams look samey sometimes.

and the worst part is when one guy leaks it to a friend team and suddenly your 'new' exec is already solved. feels like the hidden layer of cs is way thinner now.

that's why teams have started saving weird stuff for stage instead of showing it in practice. but then you get less reps on it, so it's a tradeoff either way.

it also punishes teams that rely on one-off tricks too much. if your whole plan only works because nobody saw it once, the issue is the plan, not the demos.

for real, same energy as when a gta exploit gets patched and people act shocked their whole lobby strat dies. if it falls apart the second it gets shown, it wasn't a real strat anyway.
