I still think the Ultimate Edition angle is the real story here. Rockstar priced it just under the clean wallet number, so people who want the extra vehicles and cosmetics feel like they are getting a tiny win even when they are mostly just paying upfront for the premium tier. That kind of framing matters a lot for RP players who care about starting out with the nicer stuff.

For story mode buyers it's simpler: I'd rather wait and buy the base game than mess with wallet credit games. If the game's good, a few bucks saved now won't matter in a month.
