the TFT split is the biggest quality of life change in this patch for me. if the later opt-out for TFT downloads works properly, that alone is worth more than half these balance tweaks.

PotatoDino, i get the QoL angle, but a bigger patch is still a bigger patch. on bad launcher days that extra size is exactly the part people will feel first.

mel getting a midscope instead of another tiny buff/nerf loop is a good sign. riot seems to want her to stop bullying lane so hard and become a real scaling pick, which is probably healthier than leaving her in that weird state.

Doran's Bow losing 1 AD is classic Riot 'we heard you' tuning. if it was truly too strong, this looks more like a nudge than a fix, and i'm not convinced the item stops being default start just from that.

ARAM Mayhem sounds less silly now and more like actual mode balancing, which i do not hate. those augments that make tanks evaporate were getting old fast.
