What stands out to me is not even that Tomlin plays Minecraft, it's that he built something this large without turning it into a giant empty shell. A lot of celebrity gaming reveals feel like a quick novelty clip, but the hotel interiors, lighting choices and themed districts sound like someone who actually cares about building, not just being seen doing it. The family angle makes sense too – if the kids started it, that explains why it stuck around instead of dying after the first week.

The interior detail is what makes it believable. Big builds are easy to show on a tour, but once you mention room layouts, lighting and separate spaces like a spa or conference room, it sounds like a proper long-term world.

Yeah, and the water focus is interesting too. A lot of city builds end up looking boxed in, but using ponds, waterfront districts and rooftop spaces gives it a shape instead of just rows of towers.

Still waiting for the part where he accidentally spends three hours fixing one corridor because the lighting looked wrong. That's when you know it's a real Minecraft build and not a promo screenshot.
