Nongshim RedForce dropped Sunset, then controlled Summit and Haven to win Group D’s decider, reach the playoffs, and end Karmine Corp’s tournament.

The biggest change in the series was Nongshim actually taking away the middle of the map instead of trying to fight KC's utility head-on. Once Summit turned into repeated Mid pressure, KC looked like they were always reacting one step late. That kind of momentum shift is brutal in Valorant because it makes every retake and rotate feel rushed.

mid control wins more rounds than any flashy exec, and KC never really adjusted. Sunset was their map because they got to slow it down, but after that Nongshim just kept asking harder questions every round.

I liked how Nongshim did not overcomplicate it after Sunset. The aggressiveness on Haven sounded like it came from trust, not panic, and that is usually what separates a 2-1 from a 1-2 in playoff deciders.

That's the bit people miss when they only look at the scoreline. KC can look tidy when they're on their own timing, but if the other side keeps forcing first contact and winning it, the whole round script falls apart.

And that's why the 'experience' quote from KC feels so generic here. Nongshim had a plan after losing Sunset, while KC seemed to keep hoping the same slower look would work twice.
