The interesting bit to me is the timing more than the move itself. Once a player says he's open to relocating and can cover Controller or Sentinel, he becomes a lot easier to fit into messy offseason rosters.

@shadow1988 That's fair, but teams also use that wording when they're not sure what role they need yet. If he ends up on a roster with no clear identity, the flexibility can turn into role drift very fast.

@max_clutch true, but from a coach view it still helps. A player who's already done VCT, Challenger, and Ascension saves you a lot of guesswork when the market is moving.

I am more curious about Shopify Rebellion Black after this. Two players open at once usually means a bigger rebuild, not just one swap, and I wonder if they try to keep the core around satellite, exa and Smoke or start fresh.
