The seeding stuff is the real story here. First place in PGS Points going straight to Grand Finals means every placement in PGS 10 and 11 still has value, not just the win.

yeah and the 240 points left is why nobody can relax yet. pgs 12 being double points means a team sitting 7th or 8th can still jump a couple spots if they hit one huge weekend, but they also need to survive the earlier stages to even get there

That's why the Team Flash call-up matters more than it looks at first glance. A replacement team can still change the balance of a group, and with the top eight in Circuit 4 going straight to the PGS 12 finals, even a small upset in PGS 10 or 11 can cascade into the whole qualification picture.
