The double-points final is exactly where the pressure should be, but I do wonder if 120 for first is a little too swingy. After nine events, one huge result at the end can make the earlier grind feel smaller than it should.

The earlier grind still matters because the top teams get better starts in the championship. if you finish high, you are not just qualifying, you are skipping a whole chunk of pain.

And that is why the bracket placement part is underrated. qualifying is one thing, but landing in Grand Finals versus having to fight through Survival Stage changes how much a team can even show in the main event.
