the part about Zephras Isle losing the support from Skywall is the strongest setup here. it gives the zone an actual ticking clock instead of just "go fetch 10 things" fantasy filler.

and then we still have to fetch 10 things, because wow. but at least the background story is better than most of the usual expansion excuses.

The fetch quests are fine if they are tied to the wards and the Al'Aketh sabotage. What i like is that both factions sound motivated by the same disaster, so the split feels like ideology, not just a menu pick.
