Discussion: World of Warcraft patch 12.1.7 adds a Titan Lorewalking questline

[GAMER2GO Newsroom]

Wowhead details a new questline with Apprentice Lorewalker Li Li that revisits Titan history, the Curse of Flesh, and Algalon while teasing The Last Titan.

Read the full story. What do you think?

The biggest win here is that the questline seems to treat Titan lore as a mystery again instead of a museum exhibit. Uldaman, Ulduar, the Curse of Flesh, and then the Worldsoul angle all point to the same thing: the old answers were never complete. If they use Li Li to keep it readable without dumbing it down, that's probably the right call for a chain like this.

"museum exhibit" is exactly how Titan lore has felt for years, yeah. The thraegar detail is the part that could shake things up, because it gives the Curse of Flesh a second possible origin without wiping the old story out.

That's what I'm hoping for too. I don't need a full retcon, just enough ambiguity that the Titans don't look like they had the only explanation from day one.
