    This is the correct way to do it. A direct MMO port would fail because D&D is about choices, not cooldown rotation.

    Raj1997, exactly. The best part is they seem to understand that loot chase and endless boss resets are terrible tabletop pacing.

    I agree on the pacing, but I still want the book to preserve some sense of progression. If every fight is just a one-off set piece, Warcraft loses part of its identity. The sweet spot is making the party feel like they're pushing through a zone, not farming it.
