FURIA coach Sid "sidde" Macedo says the team is dealing with travel, frustration and a packed calendar before Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo’s final Major.

the scary part is not just the schedule, it's that sidde says they still need to add details to the playbook between events. that sounds like a team trying to fix the plane while it's already in the air.

Pete_pretzel here – yeah and if the details keep slipping because of travel, the Major ends up being more about who arrives clean than who looked best in july. final FalleN event adds even more pressure too.

I think people overrate the "pressure" angle a bit. FalleN's last event matters emotionally, sure, but the real issue is whether they can stop donating opening duels and keep their mid-round structure intact. If that part is gone, no tribute run saves them.

not every team crumbles because of one bad stat though. when a squad is drained, the comms go messy and the defaults get late, and that is exactly when opening duels start disappearing. the emotional side can hit a veteran-heavy team harder than people think.

I'd split the difference. Burnout doesn't create bad CS out of nowhere, but it makes every loose round a bigger problem because nobody has the energy to reset after it. That is why the short gaps matter – if they use them well, the map pool might look a lot cleaner.

true, and if they don't use them well then congrats, they got airport reps instead of practice reps
