The 5k Ranked unlock is the biggest change for me. It should filter out throwaway accounts, but Supercell is also making ranked feel like endgame only now.

"endgame only" is exactly the problem though. if new players can't touch ranked until 5k, the mode just becomes a club of old accounts and smurfs.

maybe, but the 6 free maxed brawlers per season is a good trade. without that, diamond and mythic would be pain for everyone who does not spend much.

The stat breakdown by round is the part i'm more interested in. if it actually shows picks, bans, takedowns and objective score cleanly, post-match blame games get a lot less stupid.

and the play again button turning into queue again at masters is a good touch too. it at least signals they know high rank lobby cycling is a thing, not just one more menu click.
