Discussion: Grand Theft Auto 6 teases six radio stations and a wide mix of music

The duos thing is the detail I care about most. If Rockstar lets the hosts bounce off each other instead of just talking over songs, the stations could feel a lot less static.

slowGoose, yes, and it fits GTA more than a simple playlist. Vice City and GTA 5 worked because the radio sounded like a world, not only a music app, so the chatter is what can make these stations feel alive.

I think the licensing mix is doing heavy lifting here too. Going from Loretta Lynn to Slayer to Bad Bunny in one preview shows they are not chasing one audience, they are building a car radio that can survive long sessions without getting stale.

The pop station is the safest bet for me. Flash FM has the cleanest setup on paper and if Robyn is hosting, that alone makes it harder to ignore.

i like the latin and african stations more honestly. gta radio gets better when it sounds like a real place, not just the usual rock and pop loop

that is why this preview feels stronger to me too. the mix is wider than i expected, and if the full soundtrack keeps that balance then road trips in gta 6 should be great
