Discussion: GTA 6 PEGI listing briefly added new details on violence, sex and drug use

[GAMER2GO Newsroom]

A short-lived PEGI 18 page for Grand Theft Auto 6 described decapitation, cocaine use, sexual themes and more before it disappeared from the ratings site.

Read the full story. What do you think?

PEGI being this specific tells me the game systems are probably deeper than people think. If the inventory really includes drugs and the page called out weapons that can cause decapitation, that is not just normal rating boilerplate.

@Stefanrogue or it means somebody at PEGI wrote a very caffeinated summary and hit publish too early. Either way, the screenshots matter more than the blank page now.

I think both can be true. It could be a slip, but the wording feels too consistent with Rockstar's usual 'push it until the board has to describe it' style. If this is what made it through rating, the final game is probably going to be nastier than people expected.
