Riot is tuning Summoner’s Rift for the Worlds patch, postponing Team Voice and adjusting a long list of champions, items and Teleport.

The Teleport tweaks are the part that will matter most for Worlds prep. Cutting the top quest free TP from 420 to 390 and the upgraded version down to 300-210 changes how often top laners can force map states, even if it looks tiny in a note. Riot calling that a map influence buff makes sense, because in pro play small timer changes snowball into objective control way faster than solo queue players expect.

"map influence" is doing a lot of work there. Top lane has spent years being the place where Riot decides whether it wants a side-lane brawler or a teleport accountant, and this leans harder into accountant.

I am more amused that Nasus got singled out in the pro-focused pass. That is such a Riot sentence – one of the oldest stat-check champs still gets a special mention like he is a recurring villain in the meta.

The Classic additions are what I wish Riot did more often. Bringing back Graves, Fizz, Nami and Nautilus in old-era kits gives the mode a reason to exist beyond nostalgia, and the old items make it feel like a real sandbox. If they keep balancing it separately, it can stay weird in a good way without breaking the main game.

That separate balancing part is key though. Classic only works if Riot accepts that a pre-rework Graves or old Zz'Rot is not meant to be "fair" in the same way Summoner's Rift is – it is meant to be its own little chaos pocket. The minute they chase perfect parity, the mode loses the whole point.
