The North American org has parted ways with both players after a year that ended without an international qualification.

Read the full story. What do you think?

The part that stands out to me is how Sentinels framed JonahP as a veteran voice and still moved on from him after one year. That usually means the org thinks the leadership angle wasnt enough to justify the results, which is harsh but pretty common when a team misses international qualification. I also think the March timing matters here – if you bring in experienced pieces that late and still do not make a jump, the pressure to change them becomes huge. It feels less like one bad split and more like the whole rebuild lost trust.

Yeah, and the 'allowed to explore options' line on Jerrwin is the part that makes me think this wasnt a surprise internally. When a team phrases it like that, they usually already know the role is being reworked. I wouldnt be shocked if they try to keep the remaining core and just swap the entry space around them.

I think that is the key question now: do they build around johnqt and Reduxx, or do they treat this as the start of a deeper reset? The story says no replacements are announced yet, which usually means the org is still deciding whether to spend for proven names or trust the pieces they already have. Given the 2-3 finishes in both splits, I get why they would rather be patient than force another quick fix. But patience only works if the next move actually changes the ceiling.

If they keep waiting, the next roster could end up too small to compete. Maybe one more smart signing is better than another big shakeup.
