Jamppi led Vitality past G2 on Abyss and Split, sending the Europe No. 1 seed into the Mercedes-Benz Arena and setting up a rematch with LOUD.

Jamppi on Yoru feels like the kind of comfort pick that only works when the team is already on the same page. The fact that Vitality still had to claw Abyss out 13-11 says G2 were actually in the series for a while.

@rosiejr that first map being that tight makes the 13-4 split look even nastier. once vitality got the second pistol, g2 looked proper cooked and the round count just ran away.

The force buy point is the part I keep coming back to. Four straight attempts and none of them stuck, which usually means the enemy has your read or your econ is already in the bin.

What I found more interesting was the midround shift between maps. On Abyss G2 were finding those postplant moments and almost turned it, but Split felt like Vitality were a step ahead on timing and utility every single round. That is usually more worrying than a bad scoreline because it points to an actual adaptation gap, not just one side hitting shots.

And that is why the rematch with LOUD should be fun. If Vitality can keep the same late-round discipline, the upper final might be less of a brawl than people expect, but LOUD have already shown they can survive longer series better than most. G2, on the other hand, need a quick reset because an elimination match right after getting stuffed on Split is brutal for confidence.
