Kith'ix being a single-boss raid is fine by me if the fight is actually tight. I am more curious whether flexible Mythic means fewer pug headaches or just more ways to get stuck on one mechanic.

"fewer pug headaches" is doing a lot of work there. one boss usually means one bad overlap can brick the night for everyone.

That's why I like the idea of a solo gauntlet more than a mini-raid. If the Labyrinth rewards Mythic gear and cosmetics, at least it gives non-raiders something to push without needing a full roster.
