The Mage and Shaman pass is the bit I'm watching closest. Frostfire Bolt and the totem cleanup suggest they are trying to smooth the old clunk without turning Forever into full retail.

Yeah, but the real test is if those 'new combinations' end up being one good build and five trap talents. Blizzard always says choice, then half the tree is bait.

I think the battleground matters more than the shop stuff here. A proper 15v15 with a central flag can give PvP a reason to queue beyond just chasing rewards, which is a nice change of pace.
