KRAFTON has kicked off the PGS 12 Survival Stage, closing in on the end of the 2026 PUBG Global Series season and the race for PUBG Global Championship 2026. The developer said the final stretch of Circuit 4 includes PGS 10, PGS 11 and PGS 12, and that those three events will determine the season-long PGS Points standings for the year.
Circuit 4 runs from October 14 to November 1. PGS 10 began with its Group Stage on October 14, then moved through Winners Stage, Survival Stage and Final Stage. PGS 11 followed with Winners Stage on October 22, Survival Stage on October 23, and Final Stage on October 24–25. PGS 12 opened with its Survival Stage on October 29 before the Grand Finals from October 30 to November 1.
The final circuit matters because the 2026 PGS Points race is entering its last round. KRAFTON said the top eight teams in the final standings across PGS 1 through PGS 12 will qualify for PGC 2026. The teams that finish higher in the standings also get a better starting point at the championship: first place in PGS Points goes straight to the PGC 2026 Grand Finals, second place starts at Survival Stage Day 1, and third through eighth begin in the Qualifying Stage.
PGS 12 closes the Circuit 4 qualification path
As the Circuit Final, PGS 12 works differently from the earlier stops. KRAFTON said the top eight teams in the Circuit 4 PGS Points standings, based on points earned through PGS 10 and PGS 11, advance directly to the Grand Finals. The remaining 16 teams have to fight through the Survival Stage for the last available places in the Grand Finals.
That setup leaves little room for error. PGS 12 is not only the last event of the circuit, but also the last chance for teams to improve their position in the season standings before the final qualification cut is locked in. Once PGS 12 finishes, the 2026 PUBG Global Series points race, which runs from PGS 1 through PGS 12, will be complete.
KRAFTON also confirmed the PGS 10 Group Stage line-up for the 24 teams in the event. The groups were created through snake seeding based on the final PGS 9 results. Gen.G Esports, which won PGS 9, was placed in Group A. T1, the PGS 9 runner-up, went to Group B, and third-place Falcons were placed in Group C.
- Group A: Gen.G Esports, Made in Thailand, Virtus.pro, TEAM LIQUID, DN SOOPers, Sharper Esports, Team Vitality, Natus Vincere
- Group B: T1, Alpha Gaming, Team Flash, eArena, Petrichor Road, FULL SENSE, TYLOO, JD Gaming
- Group C: Falcons, Geekay Esports, Anyone’s Legend, 17Gaming, FOUR ANGRY MEN, Twisted Minds, 09(Team Nemesis at PGS 9), Godlike
The announcement also noted one change to the lineup. Following GAM The Expendables’ withdrawal from PGS Circuit 4, Team Flash was chosen as the replacement team based on its placement in PVS Phase 1, in line with the existing qualification criteria.
The PGC cutoff is still close
With three circuits and nine PGS events now complete, the standings are starting to separate the front-runners, but not by much. At the end of Circuit 3, Virtus.pro led the table with 261 points. Made in Thailand sat second with 224, 17Gaming was third with 223, and T1 was fourth with 208.
The current final PGC qualification spot belongs to Petrichor Road in eighth place with 152 points. Falcons are seventh with 154, only two points ahead of the cutoff line, while Gen.G Esports sits ninth with 145 points, seven points behind the current qualification mark. KRAFTON stressed that Circuit 4 is still in progress, so these standings are only a snapshot.
The remaining points on offer are enough to reshape the table. In PGS 10 and PGS 11, first place is worth 60 PGS Points, with points awarded through 16th place. PGS 12 doubles that scale: the winner earns 120 points, second place gets 96, and the doubled values carry through the rest of the standings.
That means a single team can still earn 240 points in Circuit 4 if it wins PGS 10, PGS 11 and PGS 12. KRAFTON pointed to that total as the reason the race can still change in a big way before the season ends.
The points distribution also affects the teams already sitting inside the top eight. Those teams are not just defending qualification; they are also chasing a better seed for PGC 2026. A stronger finish in the PGS table changes where they enter the championship and how much of the event they have to survive before reaching the final stage.
What is still at stake in the final three events
KRAFTON said the 2026 PUBG Global Series journey now has only three tournaments left, and that the final stretch still has 240 points on the table. With PGS 10, PGS 11 and PGS 12 all still capable of changing the standings, the final Top 8 is not settled yet.
The developer’s breakdown makes the final stretch clear: teams outside the top eight still have one last chance to force their way into PGC 2026, while teams already inside the qualification zone still have something to play for in the form of a better bracket position. The difference between finishing first and finishing eighth in PGS Points changes where a team starts its PGC 2026 run.
The PGS 12 Survival Stage is therefore more than a standard elimination round. It is the beginning of the final phase of a season-long points race that started with PGS 1 and now ends with Circuit 4. By the time the Grand Finals wrap on November 1, the field for PGC 2026 will be set, along with the seeding that each qualifying team carries into the championship.
The final push toward PGC 2026 is now underway, with only the remaining circuit events left to settle the standings and decide who joins the year’s biggest PUBG esports stage.
does the replacement slot change much?
yeah, a bit. when one team drops out, the replacement can still mess up group balance and momentum. i’ve seen that sort of swap matter more than people expect.
Momentum is nice until they get put in Group C and remember what a lobby looks like.
fair, but PUBG groups are weird anyway. one bad drop spot or a hot early fight can wreck the whole thing, so I still think a replacement can matter more than people give it credit for. not saying Team Flash are suddenly favorites, just that a late swap isn’t always dead weight.
240 points is absolute chaos
on PUBG scrims, one good run can flip a whole week, so 240 is wild but not impossible. i’ve seen teams go from
