The 2026 Valorant Game Changers Championship continued on Oct. 27 with two elimination matches in São Paulo, and both results pushed the event into its top six. SK Nebula beat FENNEL GC to eliminate the last Pacific representative, while Team Liquid Brazil defeated G2 Gozen to send EMEA’s top seed home in 7th-8th place.

Those wins followed the first lower-bracket round earlier in the event, when FENNEL GC and Team Liquid Brazil had kept their runs alive. This time, both teams survived again and advanced, while their opponents exited after best-of-three losses. SK’s victory also came one match after its loss to Shopify Rebellion Gold, and TL Brazil added another strong result against one of the most established names in Game Changers. GAMER2GO previously covered FENNEL GC and Team Liquid Brazil’s first elimination wins.

SK Nebula send FENNEL GC out of the tournament

The first match of the day ended with SK Nebula taking a 2-0 win over FENNEL GC. The series began on Lotus, where SK fielded an unusual lineup that dropped the Sentinel role entirely in favor of double-Duelist and double-Controller, while FENNEL answered with an equally unusual Miks pick by UR. Neither setup stopped SK from taking control early.

On Lotus, SK seized the momentum on attack and went into halftime with an 8-4 lead. FENNEL struggled to show the value of its composition, while Joliinaa ran rampant on Neon. She delivered an impressive 1v4 in round nine and finished the first half with 15 kills alone. That pressure carried SK through the second half, and any chance of a comeback disappeared when FENNEL lost a 3v5 full eco in round 14.

From there, SK made up for the lack of a Sentinel with strong C Mound control and better economy management. The team snowballed the map into a 13-5 win. Thuy and rezq took charge on defense with 10 kills apiece, while rezq ended Lotus with 19 kills and Thuy and Joliinaa both finished on 18.

Sunset was closer, even if the map looked favorable for SK on paper. The European team had already beaten Nova Esports GC 13-3 in its opener, while FENNEL had opened the event with a 13-4 loss to Gen.G GC. FENNEL turned that into a real contest, winning the pistol and the bonus to jump out to a 4-0 lead before SK answered in the buy rounds to level the half at 6-6.

SK then took the pistol on defense and held the lead the rest of the way. FENNEL briefly moved ahead 12-8, but SK responded with a B split through Top Mid and closed the map 13-11. Rezq topped the scoreboard with 24 kills on Yoru, ending the series at 43/27/7 KDA. Thuy and Joliinaa stayed close behind in overall production, and SK’s defense held up despite the team’s comp choices.

Team Liquid Brazil repeat the result against G2 Gozen

Team Liquid Brazil followed with a 2-0 win over G2 Gozen, repeating the outcome from the last time the teams met. TL had beaten G2 2-1 in the upper semifinals of GCC 2025, and this time the Brazilian side again sent the European team home. The loss gave G2 Gozen its lowest-ever Game Changers Championship finish at 7th-8th.

The series started on Split, where TL showed clear improvement from its earlier 13-6 loss to Gentle Mates GC on the map. This time, the Brazilian side put together an 8-4 attack half. Joojina collected 16 kills in that stretch, helping TL establish control before the side swap. On defense, the team was especially strong around B and closed out the map 13-7.

daiki’s Odin and Fade utility was a major problem for G2, and the IGL ended the map with a 20/10/11 KDA. TL’s structure on defense and cleaner mid-round play made it difficult for G2 to force the kind of advantages it needed to extend the map.

Sunset gave G2 a better start. Down 1-0 in the series, the European squad opened with an 8-2 attack half built around patient defaults and heavy Mid pressure from a Sage-Chamber composition. TL struggled to answer those looks on defense, and G2 had a clear path to pushing the match to a decider.

That changed once TL moved onto attack. Jelly led the charge on Neon, collecting six first bloods and 16 of her 21 kills to drive a perfect 9-0 attack half and a 13-8 win. isaa also delivered a strong performance on Cypher, finishing with 23 kills and steady impact in both halves. Once TL found the pace it wanted, G2 had no answer for the pressure across the map.

The result added another deep run for TL Brazil and another early exit for G2 Gozen, which had entered the event as EMEA’s No. 1 seed. The two-map win also kept TL in line with its earlier lower-bracket run, where it had already shown it could recover after a slow start to the tournament.

Next lower-bracket matchups are set for Oct. 28

With the two results, SK Nebula and Team Liquid Brazil moved into the top six and advanced further in the lower bracket. Their next opponents will be determined by the upper semifinals on Oct. 28. TL will play the loser of Shopify Rebellion Gold vs. KRÜ BLAZE, while SK will face the loser of MIBR GC vs. Gentle Mates GC.

That leaves the championship with fewer teams still in contention, and the next round will decide which lower-bracket squads can keep their runs alive. SK and TL both survived another elimination test on the same day, while FENNEL GC and G2 Gozen ended their 2026 Game Changers Championship campaigns in São Paulo.
