the Battle button showing revenge, replay, and potion states is the best change here. that is the kind of info you want on the front screen instead of buried in a log.

Sure, if you enjoy more little icons fighting for attention. This sounds neat until every status effect wants its own badge and the menu becomes a Christmas tree.
