The seeding angle is the part people might miss here. Finishing first in PGS points sending you straight to Grand Finals is a huge reward, but second versus third-through-eighth is a pretty big drop too, so even teams already inside the top eight still have a lot to fight for.

and that's exactly why the double PGS 12 points feel intentional. KRAFTON clearly wants chaos right at the end, whether people like it or not.

The group draw matters too though. If a team lands in a rough snake seed, they can lose ground before PGS 12 even becomes the big swing.
