KRAFTON has set the final stretch of the 2026 PUBG Global Series in motion, outlining PGS Circuit 4 as the decisive run that will determine the last PGS Points standings and the eight teams headed to PUBG Global Championship 2026. The developer said on October 8 that the circuit begins on October 14 and runs through November 1, with PGS 10, PGS 11 and the Circuit Final, PGS 12, closing out the 12-event season.
By KRAFTON’s account, the year-long PGS Points race is entering its decisive phase with only three events remaining. There are still 240 PGS Points left to claim across PGS 10, PGS 11 and PGS 12, and the final standings will determine both qualification for PGC 2026 and where each of the top eight teams enters the championship.
Three events will close the 2026 PGS season
Circuit 4 is the last circuit of the season, and it is the point at which the final PGS Points table for 2026 will be locked in. KRAFTON said the standings after PGS 12 will decide the eight teams that advance to PGC 2026, ending the PGS 1 through PGS 12 points race that has run across the entire season.
The schedule is spread across three tournaments:
- PGS 10: Group Stage on October 14, Winners Stage on October 15, Survival Stage on October 16, Final Stage on October 17–18
- PGS 11: Winners Stage on October 22, Survival Stage on October 23, Final Stage on October 24–25
- PGS 12: Survival Stage on October 29, Grand Finals on October 30–November 1
KRAFTON described PGS 12 as the Circuit Final. The top eight teams in the Circuit 4 PGS Points standings will move directly into the Grand Finals based on the points they collect in PGS 10 and PGS 11. The other 16 teams will enter the Survival Stage for the remaining spots in the Grand Finals.
The developer also said that PGS 12 carries double points, making the final tournament of the season the heaviest single points haul left on the table.
Virtus.pro leads, but the cutoff is still close
After three circuits and nine PGS events, KRAFTON said the standings are tight enough that Circuit 4 could still reshuffle the top eight. Virtus.pro currently leads the table with 261 points, followed by Made in Thailand on 224, 17Gaming on 223 and T1 on 208.
At the qualification line, Petrichor Road is eighth with 152 points. The teams just outside the cutoff remain close enough to apply pressure: Falcons are seventh on 154 points, while Gen.G Esports sit ninth on 145. That leaves a narrow gap around the line between automatic qualification and missing out on PGC 2026 for now.
KRAFTON framed that cutline as temporary rather than settled, stressing that Circuit 4 has yet to be played and that the current standings are not the final picture. The remaining tournaments are still enough to alter the order both inside and outside the qualification zone.
Earlier PUBG esports coverage on GAMER2GO has followed the broader points race, including the PAS2 Finals 2 Day 1 points battle, which also centered on PGC qualification pressure.
How PGC 2026 qualification and seeding work
The top eight teams in the final PGS Points standings across PGS 1 through PGS 12 will qualify for PGC 2026, according to KRAFTON. Placement in that top eight does more than secure a ticket to the championship, because the final ranking also determines when a team enters the event.
The team finishing first in PGS Points will go straight to the PGC 2026 Grand Finals. Second place begins at Survival Stage Day 1, while third through eighth place start in the Qualifying Stage. That means teams already inside the qualification zone still have something to play for in Circuit 4, since a better finish creates a more favorable starting point at PGC 2026.
KRAFTON said that PGS 10 and PGS 11 will each award 60 points to the winner, with points distributed through 16th place. PGS 12 will double those values: 120 points for first and 96 for second, with the doubled scale applying throughout the standings. Put together, a team can still collect up to 240 points in Circuit 4 if it wins all three events.
That total is why KRAFTON says the final circuit still has room to change everything. A team outside the top eight can still force its way into the qualification spots, while teams already inside the line will be chasing better seeding and a more direct route through PGC 2026.
PGS 10 groups are set after PGS 9
With PGS 10 beginning the final circuit, KRAFTON also confirmed the 24-team Group Stage line-up. The teams were split into Groups A, B and C using a snake seeding format based on the final results of PGS 9. Gen.G Esports, the PGS 9 winner, are in Group A. T1, who finished second, were placed in Group B, while third-place Falcons were placed in Group C. The rest of the field was distributed by alternating direction through the PGS 9 standings.
- Group A: Gen.G Esports, Made in Thailand, Virtus.pro, TEAM LIQUID, DN SOOPers, Sharper Esports, Team Vitality, Natus Vincere
- Group B: T1, Alpha Gaming, GAM The Expendables, eArena, Petrichor Road, FULL SENSE, TYLOO, JD Gaming
- Group C: Falcons, Geekay Esports, Anyone’s Legend, 17Gaming, FOUR ANGRY MEN, Twisted Minds, 09(Team Nemesis at PGS 9), Godlike
KRAFTON added that further updates will follow if the tournament line-up changes. For now, the full final circuit is mapped out: three events, 240 points still available, and one last chance for teams to lock in their place at PGC 2026.
The developer ended its announcement by pointing back to the scale of the season as a whole, saying the 2026 PUBG Global Series journey that began with PGS 1 now has just three tournaments remaining.
240 points still on the table is wild this late. PGS 12 being double points means one bad weekend could completely flip the top eight.
flip who exactly?
PGS 12 being double points is kind of messy. feels like a season-long race gets decided by one boosted event instead of consistent form.
I get the concern, but it also makes the last stretch matter more. Without the double points, the standings would be nearly locked and that’d be pretty dull.
fair point
You know you were waiting to call it a gimmick anyway 🙂
maybe, but gimmicks keep the bracket spicy. we’ll see if it saves a team or just causes chaos
