Yoman leaving after a year makes sense if he still wants a path back to playing. A season with a trophy and a Champs playoff run is a good calling card either way.

The part people are missing is how much this changes roster planning. With a two-year cycle, orgs can take a swing on newer lineups instead of forcing the same core to survive three or four seasons just to keep their badge. That should help China more than a rigid 10-team lock ever did, especially when teams like Xi Lai and JD have already shown they can peak and qualify on merit.

I think both things can be true. Big projects need time, but Rockstar also clearly benefited from reusing systems they built for RDR2, like NPC interaction and other world details. That is why the report matters – it suggests the long wait was partly a design evolution, not only a deadline problem.

I think that's the real hinge too. If the city lets private partners carry the Vice City theme while keeping official spaces cleaner, they can pretend there is a boundary, but everybody walking by still reads it as one campaign.
