CyberLeek reportedly threatens to release a full playable GTA 6 build

The latest demand follows another 25-minute leak, while Rockstar and Take-Two continue trying to identify who is behind the footage.

A GTA 6 leaker operating under the name CyberLeek has reportedly threatened to release a complete, playable build of Rockstar’s next game, saying it would run through the full story mode and credits. The claim came after another batch of footage surfaced this week, and Take-Two is still trying to identify whoever is behind the leaks.

Eurogamer says the threat was posted on CyberLeek’s website after the leaker shared 25 minutes of footage earlier this week. The publication says it has seen the video and that it appears legitimate, with CyberLeek’s emblem overlaid on the footage. The material reportedly includes nude scenes, including a fully naked Jason and a topless Lucia.

The latest demand raises the pressure on a leak campaign that has already produced multiple rounds of GTA 6 footage. Earlier leaks shown on GAMER2GO also drew attention for nudity, and the new video appears to continue that pattern while adding a direct threat about a playable build.

The build is tied to a $30 million market cap

According to the message quoted by Eurogamer, CyberLeek says the build will be released if their cryptocurrency coin reaches a market cap of $30 million. The same message says the game can be played “to the end credits” and presents the build as a full story-mode release rather than a short slice of content.

“CyberLeek hits 30 million marketcap, the build goes out — full story mode, played to the end, credits and all.”

The message also gives Take-Two what it calls “one way out”: physical disks and a public apology. It says the company can choose that path at any time, or “gamble” that CyberLeek is bluffing. That framing turns the threat into a public bargaining chip, with the build offered as both proof of access and leverage for a separate demand.

Dexerto reported a similar account of the threat, saying gaming creator LegacyKillaHD posted on X that the alleged release was tied to either reviving CyberLeek’s memecoin or Take-Two issuing a public apology and releasing physical discs for GTA 6. Dexerto also said the latest claim arrived days after CyberLeek allegedly resurfaced with around 25 minutes of new footage.

That footage reportedly included mission cutscenes, racing sequences, first-person gameplay, and scenes showing Jason and Lucia in various states of undress. Dexerto said the authenticity of the October footage and its connection to the original leaker have not been independently verified, and that Rockstar has not publicly confirmed the source of the material.

Rockstar and Take-Two have already moved against the leaks

Rockstar has previously described the leaks as “heartbreaking” and told fans that “this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time”. Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company, has also been hunting for the person behind the campaign and has tried to subpoena Discord for information tied to the leaker’s identity.

The threat lands in the middle of a leak campaign that has already shown a broad slice of GTA 6’s early build. Dexerto said CyberLeek first began posting apparent gameplay clips in August, with leaks that showed combat, driving, basketball, police chases, radio stations and parts of the map. One clip reportedly showed the player shooting the word “LEEK” into a wall, which Dexerto said suggested access to at least part of a playable development build.

Dexerto also said the leaks have repeatedly been framed by the account or group behind CyberLeek as a protest against digital preorders, paid content and games becoming inaccessible after servers shut down. At the same time, the same account or group has also promoted a cryptocurrency, which has led to questions about whether the campaign is driven by consumer criticism, money, or both.

That mix of motives makes the latest threat easier to read as escalation rather than a simple bluff. The new message does not just promise more footage; it claims access to a build that can be completed from start to finish and attaches a specific price to its release. It also keeps the focus on what CyberLeek says the company should do in response, rather than on any formal confirmation that such a build exists.

GTA 6 still has a firm release date

Even with the latest threat circulating, GTA 6 is still due out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 19th November. Dexerto said there is still no confirmation that a complete playable build exists or that it will be released publicly unless CyberLeek follows through.

For now, the situation remains a contest between leaked material, repeated demands and the companies trying to trace where the footage came from. The new claim adds a more concrete promise than the earlier clips, but the same unanswered questions remain around the identity of the leaker, the status of the build and how much of the game has actually been accessed.

Do we even need to treat that as fact yet? these accounts love dressing up access as leverage, and “full playable build” is exactly the kind of claim people repeat because it sounds huge.

If it’s real, that’s insane. A full story-mode build with credits is way beyond the usual clip dump, and the 25 minutes already sound like a nightmare for Rockstar.

maybe, but until someone outside the leak circle proves it, i’m just filing it under big talk. i’ve seen enough “real footage” claims to know how messy this stuff gets.

No, discs are not the real point. They want to make company look bad and maybe make people buy the coin. If they cared about preservation, they would not wrap it in memecoin drama and public apology stunt. That is why I dont trust the whole thing, even if some footage is real.

yeah. and if they are really showing mission cutscenes too, that is way past random screenshots. it sounds like they keep pushing deeper into the build.

i dunno, if they’re talking about a build that runs through story mode, that’s a bigger jump than just “more footage”. sounds like the point is access, not clips.

Do you mean because it could actually identify the leaker, or because it shows Rockstar is taking the leaks seriously? I get the curiosity, but a subpoena only matters if Discord has something usable and the account trail isn’t burned already. The big question is whether any of that would change the flow of new clips, which feels separate from the legal side.
