MIBR GC and KRÜ BLAZE advanced to the top four at the Valorant Game Changers Championship 2026 on Thursday, each taking 2-0 wins in the lower bracket to trim the field to four teams. MIBR overwhelmed SK Nebula, while KRÜ BLAZE sent defending champions Team Liquid Brazil out of the event in front of the São Paulo crowd.
The two wins followed earlier results at GCC 2026, including MIBR GC and SK Nebula open Valorant Game Changers Championship 2026 with 2-0 wins and Gentle Mates GC and KRÜ BLAZE earn upper-bracket wins on day two in São Paulo. By Thursday, both squads had settled in and looked sharper than they did earlier in the event, but MIBR’s margin was far larger than anyone else had produced.
MIBR GC hand SK Nebula a 13-0 on Summit
MIBR’s first match of the day turned into the most lopsided map of the tournament so far. Summit was SK Nebula’s pick, but MIBR turned it into a 13-0 rout, building a perfect 12-0 defensive half before closing the map with a pistol-round win. SK never found a clean opening. Whenever they tried to work space, MIBR either won the duel or had the right setup in place to shut the play down before it developed.
Waved delivered the standout performance of the map. Playing Phoenix, the MIBR player posted a 25/5/6 KDA, 494 ACS and 333 ADR, then capped Summit with a four-kill round. The numbers matched the eye test: waved kept finding first contact wins, and SK never solved the pressure around the map.
SK’s side of the scoreboard never moved off zero, and that made the tone of the series clear immediately. MIBR were not just winning rounds; they were taking away the ability to build confidence on attack or set up repeated looks. That kind of control carried into the next map as well.
Lotus was MIBR’s pick, and it was almost as one-sided. MIBR again started on defense and raced to a 10-2 lead. SK’s only two attack rounds in the half came from heroics by LizA, who briefly gave the team something to work with, but the rest of the map stayed in MIBR’s control. A Sheriff eco in the second half delayed the finish, though not for long, as MIBR closed the map 13-4.
This time bstrdd drove the attack on Neon, finishing with a 25/9/5 KDA, 404 ACS and 261 ADR. The two maps together gave MIBR a total of only four rounds conceded in the series, with their defense and opening duels repeatedly shutting SK out before rounds could turn into scrappy midround fights.
SK Nebula’s lower-bracket run ended with the kind of loss teams rarely recover from in a short event. Summit never got started, and Lotus offered too little room for a turnaround. The defeat left SK with no map wins in the series and no path deeper into the bracket.
KRÜ BLAZE send Team Liquid Brazil home
KRÜ BLAZE closed the day by knocking out Team Liquid Brazil, the reigning GCC champions. The Latin America South side leaned on prepared Sage-Chamber looks on both maps and used them to win the series 2-0, first on Summit and then on Haven.
Summit began with Liquid on top. TL converted the first pistol and the bonus round, then moved ahead 5-1 on attack. KRÜ started to respond late in the half, picking up several rounds on A to narrow the gap to 8-4 by halftime. The attack side changed the match. After tok1o and antG won a 2v3 post-plant in the pistol, KRÜ took every remaining round except the bonus and completed a 13-9 comeback.
ponix’s fast transfer helped KRÜ push the map at key moments, and the team’s late-round structure held together once the switch came. Liquid had controlled the early pace, but the map flipped once KRÜ settled into attack and began trading cleanly.
Haven showed KRÜ’s preparation even more clearly. In their previous Haven appearance at the LATAM Main Event final, they had used Neon-Phoenix. Against Liquid, they changed to Sage-Chamber, and the swap paid off. KRÜ put together an 8-4 defensive half, with Sage slowing one lane and Chamber holding deep Operator angles on the other side of the map.
micaela got the biggest statistical reward on the map, collecting 15 kills in the Sage role. KRÜ kept that pressure going on attack even while running double-Sentinel, with antG calling a half built around varied looks that took them to a 13-6 finish. micaela ended Haven with 18 kills, and tok1o finished the series with 36 through consistent fragging on Chamber.
TL could not recover on either map once KRÜ’s setup settled in. The defending champions had entered the day with a chance to stay alive in front of their home crowd, but Summit slipped away after halftime and Haven never turned back in their favor.
Friday brings KRÜ BLAZE vs. MIBR GC
Team Liquid Brazil exited GCC 2026 in 5th-6th place, their lowest-ever finish at the event. The result ended the home run for the Brazilian squad after they had already survived earlier elimination rounds, but they ran into a KRÜ team that looked ready for the map pool and for the pressure of the São Paulo stage.
GCC 2026 now pauses for a one-day break. Action returns on Friday, Oct. 30, with the upper final between Gentle Mates GC and Shopify Rebellion Gold, plus a lower-bracket match between KRÜ BLAZE and MIBR GC to decide who advances to the lower final.
That matchup gives the bracket a clear hinge point. MIBR arrive off a series in which they conceded only four rounds to SK Nebula, while KRÜ come in after dismantling the defending champions with a tactical change that worked on both maps. The winner will move one step closer to the grand final, with the loser left out of the last stretch of the event.
13-0 on the opponent’s map pick is just rude lol. Summit got turned into a warmup lobby and SK never even touched the buy menu after that.
